The photo above is of Treska’s grandmother with one of her classes in the early 1900’s.
Treska has always been drawn to people who are courteous, have good manners and style.
Her maternal grandmother was the headmistress of a girl’s finishing school in Berlin.
This is probably where her love of politeness and good manners come from.
It was only in 2010 that she was able to set up her etiquette business so that she can realise her dream of teaching these qualities.
She has two children – a son and a daughter and a grandson. Her interests outside the business are going to the gym, yoga and playing the piano. Her passions are human rights and animal rights.
Her aim is for people to be more considerate of others. This does not take away from ambition and drive, it just adds to a person’s likeability.
She believes people are drawn to well-mannered people and they would rather do business with someone who has these qualities.
Treska was trained in corporate etiquette by Jacqueline Whitmore of the Protocol School of Palm Beach, Florida. Jacqueline is one of America’s foremost etiquette experts who regularly appears on US television, radio and in print media.
She was trained in teenage etiquette by Elena Neitlich from Florida in the States.
As well as these two qualifications, she completed the Business Etiquette Course by Global Courseware of Canada.
